Diablo Beef originates in northern Arizona, where the high desert of the Colorado Plateau meets the Ponderosa Pine forests of the Mogollon Rim. Our Bar T Bar Ranch is a 4th generation ranch owned by the Prosser family. This family-owned business has made its living on the same lands for over 100 years. We are genuinely and 100% LOCAL!
Our Diablo Beef cows are raised by one of the ranches of The Diablo Trust, a local, land-based collaborative conservation group. Located east and southeast of Flagstaff, Arizona, our family ranch takes pride in maintaining open space, healthy watersheds, and abundant and diverse wildlife habitat. Thanks to our award-winning land stewardship practices we can honestly say this is landscape-scale conservation that you can TASTE!
Diablo Beef has provided beef to Diablo Burger in Flagstaff, Arizona, (named Arizona's Best Burger in USA Today). Diablo Burger, “an Arizona local foods-based burger joint” was created to, “enhance the connection between community and ecology through gastronomy – which is just a fancy word for cheeseburger.” Diablo Burger is widely known for providing a uniquely local taste. Happy cows produce rich-flavored Diablo Beef. Our cows are born and raised here, grazing on native range, roaming on thousands of acres. They are legitimately "natural," free from artificial growth hormones and antibiotics in their feed.
